The Light Between the Oceans

This week my patrons requested The Light Between the Oceans!

When I read the winning prompt, I thought of oceans being separated and a light in between. Since I love the fantasy genre, someone magical spreading them apart came to my mind.

What twist to give it? Well, instead of the typical powerful mage (or Moses), what about a regular girl with her water wings or floaties?

The inclusion of the crayfish also spreading his arms, thinking he is the one doing the deed, it's a whimsical detail for a second read.
